Team Registration

• Step 1: Register on-line for the spring 2012 SELECT season, or fill out the registration form linked on the right of this page. Payment will be required before you are officially registered. The last day to register your team is March 1, 2012.
• Step 2: Each player has to fill out a medical waiver form, which is linked to on the right of this page. Signed waiver forms must be returned to the league before March 1, 2012.
• Step 3: Since SAM SELECT is officially a travel league, players will need to be carded. Please visit MSYSA for details. An MSYSA certified roster must be turned into the league by March 1, 2012. 

Individual Tryouts - January 14th. 

Here is the information regarding the SAM SELECT individual tryout, which will take place on January 14^th at the MD SoccerPlex:

·         11:00 – 12:00pm: U10 Boys (Field 18a and 18b)

·         12:00 – 1:00pm: U11 Boys (Field 18a and 18b)

·         1:00 – 2:00pm: U12 Boys (Field 18a and 18b)

·         2:00 – 3:15pm: U13/14 Boys (Field 18)

 This tryout will be held outdoors, so we ask all players, parents and coaches to dress accordingly. A few items to note:

·      As we get closer to the tryout date, times may change to reflect current registration status. For example, U10 may be combined with U11. Also, players of any age groups are allowed to try out for the age group immediately above them. So, if you are a U10 player, you are welcome to participate in both the U10 and U11 time slots. U9 players interested will be allowed to participate during the U10 session.

·        Field 18 is one of our three turf fields; please see the SoccerPlex map for location.

·         If you are a COACH/TEAM MANAGER looking to attend the tryout, please send an e-mail to Jay Selwood (jselwood@mdsoccerplex.org) with the following:

·         If you are a PLAYER interested in SAM SELECT and looking to join a team, you must fill out the Tryout Registration Form and send it to jselwood@mdsoccerplex.org, or fax it to (301) 540-4276.

·         Each interested SELECT team coach will be given a copy of each player’s registration information, and will be allowed to contact the player and his family following the tryout. In addition, families will be given team contact information and will be allowed to contact teams to gauge interest.

·         A parent or guardian must be present to sign-in their child.
