The Soccer Association of Montgomery is Montgomery County’s newest youth soccer club that offers soccer development programs and a recreational league. SAM programs work as building blocks to provide young players the fundamentals needed to prepare them for their next step into the exciting world of soccer.
SAM offers developmental programs for children ages 3-8 years old and a Recreation Program for players U7-U17 boys and girls.
The first two stages, Pre-Kicks (ages 3-4 yr. old) and Kickers (ages 5-8 yr. old), set the groundwork for young players by teaching them individual soccer skills, teamwork, sportsmanship, and social skills.
Upon graduating from Pre-Kicks and Kickers, the players then take on the next challenge of Recreational level play. All soccer activities and games are centralized at the Maryland SoccerPlex, giving all youth soccer players not only a chance to play on the SoccerPlex fields but also have access to instructional opportunities for both players and coaches.
