We know what a challenge it can be to keep your child engaged and busy at this time. SAM Soccer is here to help! Each week we will update you to keep your child engaged and informed about the soccer world! We will have some activities your child can do safely at home and give you information about soccer legends.

Week 2, Tuesday: 

Soccer Great:

Diego Maradona – Best known for his controversial goals in the 1986 World Cup, he led Argentina to winning that same year. He is one of the greatest dribblers of his time and was constantly wowing the crowds with his amazing ball control.

Week 2, Friday: 

Soccer Great:

Luzy Bronze - One of the best outside defenders in the game currently, Luzy Bronze plays a pivotal role on England's National Women's Team. She's a modern day defender, attacking sometimes more than she defends. She is currently a part of Olympique Lyonnais for her club ball. Check out a few of her highlights here!

Week 3, Tuesday: 


 Soccer Great:

 Pele! One of the greatest players of all time. Real  name Edson Arantes do Nascimento but everyone knows him as Pele. He is a Brazilian retired professional soccer player who played as a forward. He is regarded for his unbelievable scoring ability, scoring a total of 1,281 goals in his career. Check out some of his highlights here!

Abby Wambach is a soccer icon, speaker, New York Times Best Seller and activist for equality and inclusion. Abby is a two-time Olympic Gold Medalist & FIFA World Cup Champion. After winning the Women’s World Cup in 2015, Abby retired as one of the most dominant players in the history of women’s soccer.
